Course Introduction
Examine how the principles of culturally sustaining practices apply to students learning English as a second language. Topics include how to connect students‚ funds of knowledge to their English language acquisition, and how to create an environment within classrooms and schools that acknowledges and values the contributions of multilingual students.
This workshop’s anticipated audience is any teacher who has English learners in their classroom, including TESOL and non-ESL specialists.
