Course Introduction

Every teacher has their favorite math manipulatives that provide just the perfect “ah-ha!” moment for their students. But how do we give our students that hands-on, discovery opportunity when we are teaching remotely? Or when a student is absent? How can we see what each student is doing? In this course participants will learn how to navigate GeoGebra and create an activity/game for their students that is rich in mathematical content, grade-level appropriate, and can be monitored in real-time.

Note: the recommended browser is Google Chrome or Opera on a computer. GeoGebra is available on other devices, but creating is easier on a computer.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Navigate GeoGebra
  • Use GeoGebra tools to create activities/games
  • Create a Classroom where student work can be viewed in real-time
