Course Introduction
Explore the evolving world of Generative AI Multimedia tailored for K-12 instructors. This course centers on sound pedagogical principles with practical applications to engage students in novel ways. It is divided into four parts: AI Imagery and Prompting, AI Audio Enhancements, AI Video Considerations, and Legal and Ethical Considerations. Each module includes case studies and practical applications. This course does not endorse any specific AI software. However, much of the content was created using two tools that were vetted and approved by The Ohio State University at the time of the course's creation: Adobe Firefly and Microsoft Copilot. Learn to use AI tools in a software-agnostic manner.

Course Creators:
This course was developed by Senior Digital Media Producers, Jason Johns and Jason Hazel, who specialize in educational technologies. With a combined 25 years of professional media production experience, they created this course to address the growing need for educators to utilize AI-generated multimedia content. Their goal is to demystify Generative AI Multimedia, empowering educators to focus on what they do best – educate.
